WORKFARCE – Work in Notion

ABOUT WORKFARCE

FARCE: A farce is a comedy written for the stage, or a film, which aims to entertain the audience by means of unlikely and extravagant—yet often possible—situations, disguise and mistaken identity, verbal humour of varying degrees of sophistication, which may include puns and sexual innuendo, and a fast-paced plot whose speed usually increases even further towards the end of the play, often involving an elaborate chase scene. Broad physical humour, and deliberate absurdity or nonsense, are also commonly employed in farce.

Workfarce is a place where people in the Job Board, HR Technology, Human Resources and Recruiting community can come and share ideas, a good laugh and maybe learn a thing or two. It takes a humoristic approach to all things…Please note that many pieces are satirical and stronlgly opinionated. Some will be unabashed and down-right rude, but no mind, its all in the spirit of fun.

It is certainly a Work In Progress, er…NOTION.

Some say that the first step to recovery is admitting that you have a problem. I have lots of them..and will certainly explain why. A self admitted “addict” to all things related to employment, the state of the workforce, jobs and politics, I’m not afraid to spread some opinionated tough-love throughout the recruit-o-sphere…

The opinions expressed here on WorkFarce are my own and are not representative of any employer, groups, affiliations and industry or political connections.  I am an equal opportunity blogger and everyone has the ability to be “Farced”…

Good luck on your new venture. I’m sure farce will find its niche audience.

This is one of the first times in career coaching that I am approaching “farcehood”. I can’t get the person I’m now working with to tell me who she is. Without a working knowledge about this person’s values & interests, I can become “unforgettable” myself. Oh, woe!

    marilyn-

That seems to be YOUR problem…I will help in any way I can…but if the candidate has any problems, or issues, then they need to bring it up to YOU.

I will only serve as a vehicle here on my blog, to serve my readership with much needed guidance through the eyes of a humorist approach. I’m sorry I can’t help you more but it sounds like your biggest problem is that you are in career counseling.

Contact me at the link above and we can talk more.

Thanks for sharing and as I say after every posting and every response,

    I LOVE YOU,
    WorkFarce
